Hi guys
can someone help me i am making a cracked server for {TBS}.
i have sme questions because i get error's when i start the server like:
-Could not find script 'codam\modtypes':
and
-Couldn't open logfile: games_mp.log \par
and 2 more like these
Can u plz help me
i make this server by the site: www. epcgaming .com
it's a free creation it works say most people but i want to clear the error's
HELP me!!!! :S

I know exactly what you're going through.... I had the same trouble when I tried to host a server. What's happening is that since you played on Smack and auto-downloaded all of their files you have the files necessary for them to use codam which is a server-side mod that let's them do all that special stuff like auto-balance and pick which map to use. The problem is your computer only has half the files (the one's that the client should have and not the one's the server should have). So you can either do one of two things: (1) move all of Smack's files out of CoD's main folder so it doesn't load (these should be codam files with the .pk3 extension), or (2) find the installation files for the powerserver that Smack uses and fully install that. If you can I would recommend #2 since that way you can keep playing on Smack on that computer afterwards; however, if this will be a dedicated server then you don't need to worry about that and can just do #1. I believe all of the files necessary for the complete installation are at http://www.newevolution.net/ .

i have cleaned all the error's but not this one if i know what to do against this error then i can play on the server help me plz again :P

hmm... have you tried creating a new text document in main and then renaming it to "games_mp.log" ? It seems to me that the server should create this logfile if it doesn't already exist when the server starts, but I don't know. Oh, and I have no idea what that "\par" is all about. Perhaps it's the directory that the server expects the logfile to be in. After you've tried the first one, try creating a directory within main called par and then try putting that "games_mp.log" file that you created in this folder.
Hopefully one of these should work. I believe that the server is supposed to create and maintain a logfile...
If you have too many more problems, I would suggest simply uninstalling CoD, deleting all of the files leftover after uninstall and do a fresh install. That schould clear up any errors created by visiting modded servers. If all else fails... do this!

now i have these error's
and i have al the maps 
execing default_mp.cfg
couldn't exec language.cfg
execing uoconfig_mp.cfg
couldn't exec autoexec_mp.cfg
hope it willwork this time

the errors you listed really don't matter... I'm thinking that the server has started you just didn't give it a rotation or even a starting map...
try typing "map mp_brecourt" into console and then see if you can connect

but i am still tring to make my own
its working but..
its LOCAL i cant get him to internet

don't know too much about routers though... are you behind a firewall?

don't think it's the router or the firewall. If thats the problem, the server will probably not run at all, but will generate errors while trying to connect to the internet.
I think it must be something in the config. The server applet within COD itself has the same parameters (local, internet etc.)
So just check your main config files and search for local as keyword. Reset the found paramter to internet and have a try.
That's my advice, if someone has a better one please help him out.

yeah it can still be a firewall... here at Clemson I can start up CoD servers all I want behind a firewall... but it's limited to the LAN. That's the only reason I'm not setting one up here on my own so trust me a firewall is a big deal. Usually it prevents incoming connections and not outgoing ones.
I recommend checking your firewall to make sure that port 28960 is open for both TCP and UDP connections.

If you are running it dedicated, try using this command on server start up
+set dedicated 2 This will let any dedicated server connect to the internet, otherwise it will be running on LAN
