So it's weird. T is my push to talk key. As you see me typing T, clearly my T key works. Neither box is checked at the bottom, so nothing is muted. My set up confirms that T is my push-to-talk key and that it's enabled. My software settings aren't muted for the Mic, but that's not even the problem 'cause my vent light won't light up. I can't speak in vent, and I don't know why. I can hear everyone. And everything seems like it should be fine. So what's the problem?

Go into 'C:\Documents and Settings\Golbez\Application Data\Ventrilo' or whatever username you use... hunt around inside the config files for the problem.
If all else fails just delete the folder. It'll be like installing Vent fresh. You'll lose all your saved servers etc though.

Man, my computer is falling apart. I swore I had a virus on here. I couldn't update Norton Antivirus. It'd get to the same place in the update and then fail every time. So I used to Online virus scanning things, and while those were going, I was replying to an email and the cursor would fall behind my typing and jumble the letters. After like 2.5 hours of scanning, monitoring, and love, I think I've got it back under control. Norton was uninstalled and reinstalled, and the update worked fine, and now I'm doing one final scan with it.
From what I understood, it was mostly spyware, but one of the online scans listed some of the results as a Trojan, but it was still classified as spyware? Very weird. Should be good to prepare for Paradox though. I'll be on in about 1/2 hour. Need to eat and get ready.

I've had to reformat twice due to viruses. Best advice I can offer is to stay away from the Blue E, and porn sites.

Who needs porn sites when there's torrents? Nah, it was none of that. The last few things I downloaded were a couple Boston albums, Moody Blues discography, and Monday's Prison Break. Although there were no extra files, and no executables. So I can't imagine it was that. I dunno. Maybe it was spyware from the ads at www.sexydesktop.co.uk. I did update the background collection...
