I just wanted to post this to remember that 5 years later , why we are fighting , and to pay tribute to those that perished that day.

In honor of this , take a moment to yourself , to remember and reflect 5 years later , on what happened that morning on september 11th , it is something that is unlike anything else , but in that we must strive to continue to payback the people that have done this to our country , remember this and keep strong USA , keep strong.

Hmmm, the "Hijack" banner kinda sullies the spirit of this post.

The war in Iraq has nothing to do with 9/11 and there's no one fighting in Afghanistan anymore.

The attacks sucked though, gl/hf America.

I beg to differ Wicket, Sadamn Hussein was a dictator that needed to be removed but as well , this is a war on terrioism , not neccesarily a war on people that just caused 9/11 , but a war on terror. No doubt that Iraq houses terrorists and we have uprooted some like zarqawi and kaleek shi muhammed ( who cares about the spelling ) and Sadamn himself was a terrorist as it is , he tortured his own people , murdered them and had mass graves of dead people he tortured some for no reason. The war must continue to be fought , or the terrorists will follow us back to home and attack us again.

Bush said last night "America didn't ask for this war , and we all want it to be over, So do I."

The man isn't there for no reason or for oil and what not others like to assume , please don't be so dumb and senseless. God forbid John Kerry got in office , we would be getting attacked again in our own country rather then having bombs go off in Iraq , which do you want? I sure as **** don't want bombs going off in my backyard.

To Wicket , Do not watch your bbc and other liberal biased news , watch news that tells you the good and bad about what is going on in america , not just the bad.

Part of the problem today in America is that they don't stick together like we used to in other armed affairs like world war 2 , world war 1 and further back in time. It's these political wars where one side thinks they are right and the other thinks they are right to the point that they are too far up each others asses that they forget that they have a war to fight.

I'm an extreme patriot as butch knows and well , moose from has downs is the same way , I'm a damn proud American , who believes in our cause , but **** when anybody **** says something about the USA , you'll hear something from me.

I hate Bush. I think an IQ level greater than 60 should be mandatory to be president. It's good to be patriotic. But know that patriotic means supporting the country, not just its dipshit for a leader. It means supporting those who suffered through the wake of Katrina, while help mosied on over at a leisurely pace. It means supporting our future, which is currently economically and educationally ****. Pretty much, it just means being responsible. And I haven't done a mass servey, but I'm pretty sure it's much harder for dipshits to be responsible. Behold.

Whoever criticizes Bush for going to war in Iraq is obviously retarded to a point where common sense does not arouse any brain activity within their crookedly connected neuron system.

Now, I must say Bush doesn't seem like the brightest crayon out of the box. But hell, I sure like what the hell he's doing. I mean, in the war sense. That's the only thing I'm going to voice my opinion on. He didn't go to Iraq for no oil, that's about as shallow a rebuttle as saying frogs jump cause they love diving into the water and competing in 2 meter races. If any of you know the reasoning behind him switching over to Iraq, it was because of what Hussein was doing to his own people. Mother **** was fryin peeps left and right, poisoning them, cutting off their heads, and throwing them in ditches. Some sadistic ass ****, but what is the president going to say this on TV? Nah, so he threw in the WMD curveball. Worked, eh? And even if they weren't found, it's better to be safe and sorry, right? I don't know about you but I don't want a **** atomic bomb in the hands of some maniac hoping to strike me and those I know.

I understand people say: "Would you **** want to go fight in the war?" Or, "What about the families of those in the war?"

Well ****, they signed up for the military they obviously were so patriotic they wanted to risk their lives for the freedom of this country as a whole. And that's the bravest thing anyone can ever do. Amazing, so they're out there saving your ass while you ***** and moan about why we're in the war in the first place? What level of brain damage can possibly cover up for this type of attitude? Everybody wants to get out of there as fast as possible and get the job done, but it obviously hasn't been that easy.

I don't know about any of you, but like Benzin said, if you wanted to leave them be have fun practicing bomb raids in school cause that's what this would ultimately lead to. They'd be **** flying over here raiding the **** out of us unexpectedly, because no matter how much alert and security you put on this, something is bound to happen if they are freely able to replicate and grow. However, they're not. We've locked them down at least partly, and will continue to do so until they're ***** asses are terminated.

So if you want to end the war unfinished, or ***** about how it was a bad thing, go ahead. I'm guessing you don't mind crapping your pants everyday hoping nothing flies out of the air and hits your **** town or crashes into your house.  :ar15:

I also left out the future of our environment, and the repeated denial of the Kyoto agreement. And here's some additional literature (albeit a little out-dated):

Either way , differences aside should just push forward to be one country , not 2 politcal stand-offs , and if there is someone that can do that , then show me them.

AND DONT SAY FDR , because he's dead  :(

And golbez , attacking a president for his personal misfortunes is pretty low if that is all that you have to say about him , it isn't just a president that runs a country , it is his cabinet also , which contains former democrats as well.

Just because of a stutter here , a trip here , doesn't give you a reason to hate the president , that is just dumb.

Almost as dumb as the liberal NAACP comparing bush to a "nazi".

Hate him love him, he's still the president...for 2 more years.
**** Hillary Clinton in '08  :)

im not going to go into political conversation, but im proud to wear my Uniform everyday. And think that we should be thankfull for the country we live in today, you may say its **** up by current politics past politics, but would you rather live in africa, where millions die because they dont have the technology or resources to cure what we call common illness-es. Whether you hate bush or love him, he's running our country and as long as we as americans, and wicket, stand together nothing can take us down.

Er, Stand together = unity in public thought? Hard to do w/ numbnuts leader. But I guess if that is accomplished, there wouldn't have been a fall to the Roman Empire either. So maybe you're right. But that's quite a lot to ask.
