How do you guys like using Xfire? I've been thinking about trying it out. I've always used the all-seeing eye and have had no problems with it. Is it worth switching?

i liked xfire. i still like xfire... just nobody i know uses it anymore (my old clan [AK] used xfire). it's great cuz you can respond while in game without minimizing... which is especially nice when you don't have that fast of a comp and hate minmizing wait times. it also shows what game you're playing, if you're playing one that is. it's pretty basic and pretty fast. i never had any problems with it.

Just installed it. looks OK. Think it only works if everybody uses it. If youre the only one, you can only find yourself (that's a shock though) and i'm not trying to find myself at this time. I know i have a screwed up identity but i like it this way 
TBS is starting to use X-fire with all members, so that's a start

I also use Xfire but honestly I use xfire so that people see that I am on the nbk server. It shows off to the left the server ip address that I am on. So its just another way to get guys rocking and rolling on our server.

I'm giving er a try. I like the idea of being able to IM in game. If I use MSN messenger and I get an IM while I'm playing my brightness goes way down for some reason and I can't answer unless I quit out of the game I'm in. Because CoD doesn't let you alt + tab out of it. So far the only bugs I'm seeing is when I try to join a server with xfire it says server is a different version 1.5. Anybody know why?

Yea of course I have. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to play on nearly every server, because they're all using 1.5 now. That's why it's so confusing. I have 1.5 installed but for some reason it's telling me I don't.
Another weird thing about it, if I join a game by clicking on a friend that's allready in the server it works just fine. It's not a big deal. But it's kind of annoying that Xfire's not doing what it's supposed to do.

I must say after using X-fire for about a week or so, I luv it. Very useful. A must have for any gamer. Especially if your in a clan and you need to get a hold of your clanmates for an impromptu scrim.
Oh and BTW charger it only works if your logged in (lol). : P
